The season of reflection and gratitude invites a pause–and what a year it has been!

I look back on 2025 and see the immense growth of our forest park. The year started with a challenge to prove that a forest park can welcome travelers and tourists without losing its soul. And so every trail refined, structured, placed, and experienced offered was guided by intention, restraint, and respect for the land. At Mt. Camisong, we built more than architecture and planted more than just foliage. We built a space where people can gather, breathe with nature, and plant lasting memories in their hearts.

It was also a year shaped by patience, resolve, and the quiet strength of the forest itself. These values are embodied by the people who work tirelessly every day to make Mt. Camisong the beautiful haven that it is. As the prime mover of this endeavor, I carry a personal responsibility for the team and the park’s protection and long-term sustainability. Every decision, from conservation to operations to events, is guided by the forest’s needs and the well-being of the people who care for it. Balancing preservation with the realities of running a living, breathing park is never simple, but we at Mt. Camisong meets this challenge with thoughtfulness, integrity, and unwavering commitment.

As we hosted more events at the park, especially this Christmastime, we were reminded that conservation does not exist in isolation. Thoughtfully designed gatherings became opportunities to show how tourism can coexist with stewardship, creating meaningful experiences while supporting the land and fostering a sense of shared responsibility. In every event throughout the year, we saw the forest as a living partner, and the connections it inspires, as equally valuable as the care we give it.

We look ahead to the following year with pride and humility as we celebrate our first anniversary as a forest park. This milestone is a testament to what is possible when conservation, community, and thoughtful stewardship come together. We will continue refining sustainable tourism practices, deepening our advocacy through action, and investing in the people who make this place thrive.

Mt. Camisong Forest Park and Events is more than land; it is a responsibility, a community, and a promise. We celebrate the holidays, cherishing the joy and connection this season brings. As we step into 2026, we remain grounded in gratitude, guided by integrity, and committed to ensuring this forest remains protected, welcoming, and alive for generations to come.

Happy holidays to you and your family! Cheers to the new year ahead!
