Job Overview:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Staff is responsible for managing the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and other payments. This role involves verifying invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and code vendor invoices.
- Obtain approvals and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare and process payments (checks, electronic transfers).
- Reconcile payment records with invoices and purchase orders.
- Monitor payment schedules to avoid late payments.
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records and documentation.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
- Generate financial reports as requested.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Assist in audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Physical Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment medical.
- Able to work in a high-altitude environment.
